Friday, February 15

9:00am – 6:00pm: Official Training. The race courses will be marked and groomed for free and classic techniques at Nipissing University. There are no fees to use the trails at Nipissing University.

2:00pm – 4:00pm: Race Office Open

5:00pm: Coaches Meeting (with food), Nipissing Athletics Upper Boardroom
5:30pm: OUA Annual Coaches meeting

Saturday, February 16

Registration

Registration for OUA events will be handled exclusively online with Zone4 Entries for all categories must be submitted by Wednesday, February 13 at 23:59 EST. Entries for OUA racers received after February 13 will not be accepted.

Registration for all other Categories will be handled exclusively online with Zone4. Entries for all categories must be submitted by Wednesday, February 13 at 23:59 EST. NO LATE ENTRIES.

Confirmation and start lists will be posted at www.zone4.ca and will also be provided at the coaches meetings. Note that confirmation lists on Zone4 cannot reflect any post-registration changes so it is important to check with the race office if you have requested any changes.

Race Fees are $20 per race for Peewees, Mini-Midgets and Midgets, $40 per race for all other OCup racers, and $90 for the weekend for OUA athletes.

OUA Banquet Tickets are $35, available through Zone4 event registration.

Awards & Results

Results will be posted in the stadium and at the race office. A computer screen located near the timing office will provide real-time results. Results will also be posted online at Zone4. Ontario Cup awards will be based on unofficial results so they can be presented as soon as possible following the last race.

OUA Championship awards for Saturday and Sunday’s races will be presented at the OUA banquet, and Monday immediately following the last race.

Facilities

Waxing areas will be available in heated construction trailers. On-site power will be available, however, large teams are encouraged to bring generators, or to rent them locally to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

Please note that the XCSO waxing protocol will be in effect for the Junior B/G and younger age categories for OCup #5.   For this race only, the Open categories will be exempt from this due to the combined OUA and OCup competition.   

Men’s and Women’s change rooms and showers will be available at Athletics in addition to outdoor and indoor washrooms adjacent to the race stadium. There will be a snack bar serving food and drinks. Coaches will be provided with coffee and cookies.
